WordPress is buggy right now!

Same issues here. Cannot add images or links, and when switching to text view, none of the buttons display at the top (such as <more>). I’ve also tried several different browsers.

I’m in Germany, connect via laptop and regular computer, use Firefox 14.0.1 or Google Chrome 20.0.1132.57.
I can’t add tags to posts, upload media, the Quick Edit button as well as the Status Edit and Visibility Edit buttons aren’t working.

I can’t add media. I’m in the UK.
I’m sure if all the hours Users are wasting in trying stuff when it’s clearly busted were added up it would not be a small number. Is there no way a ‘volunteer’ could rattle a paid position in WordPress to get it sorted? I’ve seen a note that they’re all away on a jolly, is this really true? Don’t they have anyone left holding the fort. Amazing.

Cannot add media or polls I am using google chrome but have tried safari and firefox too but no luck!

I was using Explorer. It was too slow and buggy with wordpress. I’ve just installed Firefox 14.0. It’s running smoothly (so far) Wow.

Pretty much the same, here.
US, Camino 2.1.2 on OS 10.4.11 with cable connection.
Widget editing ceased to function; the whole page of widgets are frozen in place, and none will allow access to their settings. The screen options and help tabs in upper right corner do not respond. And then, of all things, once I had tried emptying cache, clearing cookies, restarting computer and browser and computer, I could not log in again! FIVE TIMES my attempts to log in at wp-login.php caused downloading of a blank text page called wp-login.php, wp-login-1.php, wp-login-2.php, wp-login-3.php and wp-login-4.php.
Worse still, my browser’s functionality slowed to a crawl. Simply scrolling the sidebar took eons, making it impossible to read open pages at other sites.
Finally, I opened an old Firefox browser that has the Better Privacy addon, and I went in there an nuked all the LSOs/flash cookies. This action released me from browser hell, and I was able to log in at WP again. But WP’s site (non)functionality has not otherwise changed.

Oh I just installed Firefox14.0. And I found that there are still many bugs.
There’s only one column in the new post page. And I can’t go to screen options to edit it. I can not add a custom form too. There must be something wrong. Please fix it. -
I’m in New Zealand. Can’t insert media in my posts. When I click on the ‘Insert Media’ button, nothing happens. I don’t get an option to upload file etc. Tried Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 7.0.1. Cleared my cache, restarted my laptop – nothing helped. Please get it fixed :-)

So many people facing the same problem!
I am pretty sure WP is upto some pretty good and when all is fixed, we are gonna have a better experience then we’ve had till now. :)
I am going to be patient about this because, WP has always come thru. Take your time Matt, no worries from my end. I could use this break ;)

My blog Radius Of A Square is working fine but other blogs aren’t.. Is it because I am using different logins for different blogs? My IP might be giving trouble. I login using one id at one time. If i have to edit something on the other blogs, i log out and re-login using the appropriate ids. I have to do this because I am maintaining blogs for a few of my friends who don’t know to use wordpress properly or are busy developing the content. I handle all the CMSs and they handle the content. M i doing something wrong here. Please point it out If I am. I don’t want to spoil the fun for everyone. ;)
If this is not creating any problems, then people, rest assured, everything will be alright..

I can’t upload a pic into a post, I’m running Chrome and have tried clearing the cache / rebooting to no avail.
Basically the same problem as otrazhenie above.

Opened a support topic and now just copying my entry:
I forgot my password.
After changing it via ‘Forgot Password’, almost every function for creating a new blog entry is not working anymore:
1. Various problems when creating a new blog entry via clicking on my user name – klicking on my blog – klicking on ‘New Post’ in the ‘WordPress bar’ (or whatever it’s called)
1.1. It is not possible to insert pictures. Clicking the button ‘Daten hinzufügen’ right above the text box results in: Nothing happens.
1.2. It is not possible to add add tags. Typing in a tag and clicking on ‘Add’ simply results in: Nothing happens.
1.3. Preview is not working. If I type in text, choose an existing category for my entry and click on ‘Preview’, depending on the browser used, I get the following results in the preview window:
Firefox: ‘…Es konnte nichts gefunden werden.
Entschuldige bitte, aber in diesem Archiv wurden keine Ergebnisse gefunden. Vielleicht hilft die Suchfunktion ein Ergebnis zu finden….’
Chrome: Empty blog entry (no text displayed).
2. Copying an existing post is not working: Clicking on ‘copy’ post XY results in: Nothing happens
3. Editing existing posts: Same problems as described above (can’t add new pictures, tags)
To make the matter more complicated, adding a new blog entry via the button ‘New Post’ (also in the ‘WordPress bar’) works… somehow. But this way, the resulting post differs from what I want (for example, only a small version of a large picture is displayed in the post and I cannot display the original size by clicking on the picture).
Furthermore, I’m the administrator of another blog (the companyfor which I’m working) and there, creating new blog posts works as usual (using the same computer and the same browser).
Therefore I can only asume that changing my password resulted in a buggy blog…
Ah, by the way: I already cleared cache and cookies.
I’m using wordpress with a german interface, so I’m sorry if I didn’t use the correct english words for certain menu items. Hope you understand what I mean.
Please help, because the current situation is downright frustrating!

I was halfway through writing a post about 6 hours ago, when I realised I was unable to add links, post photos, or tag. Still can’t. When I click to do it, either nothing happens, or it kicks me out of the post.
I am running Safari V5.0.6 on Mac OS X V10.5.8.

I have the same issues and have tried internet explorer browser instead of chrome but I still can’t add tags, pictures or use the quick edit function. When will this be fixed as I need to post today? Are WordPress working on a fix already? Has the system been hacked?
