WordPress is distorting my header image quality no matter the format, why?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have tried to upload a header image with every high-end formatting possible to ensure the header image is high quality. However when it uploads and displays the image quality is greatly distorted.

I made the image size the exact same as what was recommended.
    I tried several formats.

I have no clue how to fix this at this point.

Hello there! I have taken a look at your site in multiple browsers, and I’m not seeing a skewed header. This is my view:

If you are seeing something different, please send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there. Just let me know when there’s something I can take a look at.

The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

    Take a Screenshot

I suggest you also try to clear your browser’s cache, refresh your site, and see if that’s made a difference:

Finally, if you’re still unable to see the site correctly in Firefox, take a look at your site in Chrome or an alternate browser. Let me know if there is a difference in the header quality.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.
