WordPress is not allowing pushes to Facebook

  I posted 2 new articles in the past 3 days and I can successfully share them, via wordpress, with twitter but not Facebook. If I edit the post, it shows “Facebook” as one of the sharing sites but when I edit the sharing sites, Facebook is unchecked. If I check it and update, it still does not work. I then go back to the edit the sharing, and Facebook is again unchecked. I tried reconnecting to Facebook by going to the sharing tab in settings and deleting the Facebook account and then re-adding it. I was successful in re-adding it, but again the problem persisted in that the posts are not being pushed and Facebook is forcefully unchecked when I try to edit the sharing. To reiterate, this is not a more general problem with sharing because I am pushing to google+ and twitter without problem, it is something specific to Facebook and something that happened in the past few days.
