WordPress is not functioning properly

    I accidently Edited a custom parent theme and now my wordpress dashboard is not functioning properly. Not sure why but now it is showing a div across the theme where an image is meant to be. I have tried everything, caching plugins, browser caching, checking through other browsers.

    I cannot customize my page anymore, I cannot upload logos, I click upload and nothing happens.

    I have tried deleting themes and re-adding them back via ftp but I still get the same problem.

    What would be the best way to handle this?
    I have quite a large source of files in my wordpress, so if I can fix the issue without removing all of wordpress and backing it up, that would be great.

    I would be happy to set up a teamviewer account for somebody to check the problem.

    Any help would be great thanks.

    Hi there,

    There are two different versions of WordPress.

    These forums only provide support for the WordPress.com version; it sounds like your site uses the self-hosted version from WordPress.org.

    If you need support for a self-hosted site, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
