wordpress is not redirecting to my .com

  Hi there, last night I paid £9 for my wordpress to be redirected to my .com name (www.lulaandrye.com), when I first typed in the .com web address it looks like it is trying to connect and at the bottom goes between saying ‘Waiting for http://www.lulaandrye.wordpress.com’ and ‘Waiting for lulaandrye.wordpress.com’ but the screen remained blank with a tumblr symbol on the tab (lulaandrye.com use to direct to my tumblr)

  Now a screen has just prompted me to create a username and password for WordPress which I did and now Lulaandrye.com is redirected to a WordPress screen saying ‘Hello World! Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!’

  Please let me know how I can fix this!

  Your site’s Primary Domain was not set to lulaandrye.com:

  https://lulaandrye.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  I’ve made the required change, so you should be good to go. Also, clear your browser’s cache:

  Hi @pmciano. It still doesn’t work…I bought my domain off one.com does that make a difference?

  I reset the settings and on one.com I set the DNS to just redirect the page to http://www.lulaandrye.com but that is not great for google search etc as it doesn’t really host the page properly.

  Please could you help advise and try and reset so it goes to http://www.lulaandrye.com

  Are you trying to use lulaandrye.com with the content you have hosted at lulaandrye.wordpress.com, or are you trying to direct traffic from lulaandrye.wordpress.com to a self-hosted, WordPress.org site you have hosted elsewhere?
