WordPress is not saving my flickr slideshow embed code

  Please advise why WordPress is not saving my flickr slideshow embed code and uploading to my blog. The support answers are not helping.

  I answered you in your first thread. WordPress.com does not support Flickr slideshows bu I provided a link to a workaound you can use here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/no-insert-slideshow-button?replies=2#post-1009224 Please don’t create duplicates. On the top right hand corner of any form page you see Welcome asecondchanceresale Click that link and you will find every post you have made to these forums.

  Actually, I’ve always been able to upload Flickr slide shows and have been doing it for a couple years now. I’ve started another blog, and this one is not allowing me to do it.

  This is a perfect example of how I was able to upload flickr to wordpress before:

  Please advise why I cannot do it on this new blog now. The link you provided was very confusing, scattered and unhelpful. For example, it provides a short code for flickr videos, but not for flickr slideshows.

  That site is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog at all. You are comparing apples tot oranges. Have you read this?

  I don’t think that is accurate. Here is another free WordPress platform in which I used Flickr Slideshows:

  That is also a WordPress.org self hosted install.

  Ok, thank you. Please advise then how to do a short code for flickr slideshows, as the link you provided suggests how to do a short code for flickr videos only.

  I don’t believe you can, although I have heard it’s possible. I put my Flickr slideshow embed code in to Vodpod and use the vodpod shortcode.
