WordPress is not showing I have an account but is effecting my emails
-
My domain is with Dreamhost. After renewing my domain, my emails stopped working. It continues to say I need the MX from WordPress but I don’t have a WordPress. WordPress doesnt event acknowledge that I have an account so I am unable to fix the issue. This issue is impacting my ability to communicate with my clients.
I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Hereinlies the issue with WordPress support. If I don’t have an account with you, yet somehow you are involved with the interruption of my services, how am I supposed to get the issue resolved in a timely manner when I can not get a hold of someone without a premium account? I am not about to pay for services I don’t have.
As a single mother trying to run a company amidst a million other stressors, I can not tell you how aggravatingly frustrating the WordPress communication process is. There is a reason I have chosen not to have anything to do with WordPress so I simply can not understand why my domain is being held up by a service I do not have an account with.

Hi there!
Can you let us know what the domain is where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thank you!

Hi there!
Based on your reply on this other thread, it seems the domain you’re referring to is infin8dreams.com.
This domain is registered with a different WordPress.com account (not the
infin8lyelevatedaccount you’re posting from). The domain is not registered with Dreamhost. It was likely pointed there using custom nameservers or DNS records, but it is registered with us.The domain is not working because it expired about 13 days ago. You must renew the domain as soon as possible to avoid having to pay the redemption fee (which is $80). You can learn more about the redemption period for domains here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period
I’ve just sent an email to the email address we have on the correct account. Please check all of your known email addresses to see if you can locate it. I’ve included the instructions in the email. Please reply to the email and we’ll help you with the next steps.
If you can’t locate the email and you don’t remember the credentials for your other account, please follow the instructions below so that we can help you log in to the account and renew the domain for another year.
* Look for the transaction ID for payments made to us in the previous years. You can look for it in your credit card statement. https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#on-your-credit-card-statement
* Once you’ve found the transaction ID, please go to the link below and send the transaction ID to us via the account recovery form: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
* Do not post the transaction ID here on this forum. We’ll get back to you via email shortly after you’ve sent us the transaction ID to help you log in to the correct account.
Regards
