WordPress is unable to update a CNAME within DNS records
-
I am attempting to connect the domain paperconservationstudio.com to Squarespace. I have succesfully transferred my A records and one CNAME. When I attempted to transfer the “www” CNAME, I got an error from WordPress saying “unable to update DNS”. What is the problem here?

Hi there,
While the domain
paperconservationstudio.comis mapped to a WordPress.com site it appears to be registered at Aplus.net.To use the domain at Squarespace I would recommend logging into your Aplus.net account and setting the DNS there.
If you would like to point the DNS to Squarespace from WordPress.com this can be done from https://wordpress.com/domains after removing the root A Record. Currently, all records are pointing the domain to a WordPress.com site.
