WordPress is unreliable.

    I built my own website using WordPress.

    Everything was fine… for about a year… and then all of a sudden Primer theme no longer works correctly.

    It’s not malware as I have confirmed with my provider.

    No idea WTF happened, but now my website is a mess.

    Apparently my existing ‘theme’ (Primer) WAS BROKEN (exactly written as per WordPress).

    WTF.

    So much for spending MONTHS building my own website.

    I would not recommend WordPress to anyone. The issue I have has originated from WordPress… updates? Whatever. I don’t give AF what the issue is… the issue shouldn’t exist in the first place.

    FY WordPress.

    I’m out.

    There is no Primer theme here at WordPress.com. https://wordpress.com/themes?s=primer Therefore I expect your are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install.

    We are unable to assist unless or until you provide the site URL starting with http:// so we can verify hosting.

    To save you time you can type the actual URL of the site you are referring to into http://whoishostingthis.com to determine who hosts the site so you know where to post for support.

    We provide support only for sites hosted on WordPress.COM servers. You could be posting to the wrong support forum. To be clear we do not provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software, or for WordPress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to WordPress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites WordPress.COM account page.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
