WordPress is using wrong image for Facebook (already tried cookies and FB debug)

  Hello. Lately I have this problem: I’m posting new article with added “Main image”. I also add the same image in the beginning of the article.

  Last few times Facebook is not using that “Featured image”, but instead is using random image from the text OR in this case youtube video.

  I tried Facebook Debug Tool which was working fine before, but now it still uses the video instead the image I want. I also tried to delete cookies/clear cache.

  When I share same link in LinkedIn and G+ It shows correctly, but facebook is showing the video instead the featured image.

  Thanks advance for any answer.

  Forgot to mention I use latest version of WordPress and Genesis Theme in case it matters.

  Fixed it.

  I moved the content to new page – new url. Added the featured image WITHOUT adding the video. Scraped the content with Facebook Debug Tool and then added the video to the wordpress page.

  There are two different versions of WordPress, and your web site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress.

  But you are asking this question on the forum for WordPress.COM.
