WordPress Keeps Closing Comments on Old Blogs

WordPress keeps closing comments on my old blogs I don’t have “automatically close comments on articles older than –” checked. How do I solve this?

That looks strange. Ideally if you have not enabled that option, comments shouldn’t be closed on your blog posts after a certain days.
