WordPress Layout Change– Can't find anything.
-
I click on “New Post” and instead of asking me what type of post I want to do, it automatically took me to a new post screen that I’ve never seen before. There’s no “add media” or anything, but there is an “add gallery” at the bottom. I don’t want a gallery; I put individual pictures in throughout a post. Also, there’s no “Save draft”. When I went into my account to look up my posts, that is completely different and apparently wordpress is no longer autosaving either, because this new post isn’t appearing. I’ve searched through their help, but everything points to how it used to be setup; there is nothing that is covering this new layout.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There has been a change to the interface at https://wordpress.com/post/ Staff are recommending that we bypass the New Dash in favor of posting directly on our sites. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/where-did-the-add-media-button-go?replies=2#post-1927520
For image uploading please note the Staff response here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/why-is-there-now-only-small-pictures-in-the-post-can-i-get-them-big-again?replies=3#post-1927594
The original place to create a post with full features to upload images, etc is here Dashboard > Posts > Add New and it works well for me.
In fact I never ever use the Add New at https://wordpress.com/post/ which is undergoing changes as part of an ongoing project to make the site multi-device mobile friendly.
Go to Dashboard > Post > Add New
