WordPress Like Button SPAM?
-
Last night I added a new post with some photos I took of some window art. So far the post has only been looked at 2 times according to the stats but I’ve had two notification emails from WP telling me people have liked the posts.
When I look at the post there’s no evidence of anyone clicking the like button. It usually says somewhere which bloggers liked the post and in my sharing settings I don’t have the WordPress like button enabled.
Is there some sort of SPAM trickery going on to get me to look at their blogs?

There is a “like” button feature on the top gray navigation bar that I don’t believe we can inactivate. I’m logged in and I have the “like” button appearing on the nav bar when I visit your site and that post. For a definitive answer on this you will have to contact Staff. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
