WordPress local interaction

    Hello,

I am writing to ask some clarification questions about WordPress.
So I understand you can pay to get WordPress hosting and the website building tool and you can download it for free to use locally and on your own server/database.

Is there a way for an interactive experience while still using the free tool. My team and I are a tight budget, and members of our team have minimal coding expertise.

We would like to use HostGator to host our site and have four members of a team all be able to change and edit the site using WordPress. I’m not sure if this inquiry makes sense so please respond back with any questions.

    Thank you

I should also specify that we are not trying to use GitHub / GitLab / etc

This is WordPress.com. Sites hosted here can be completely free if you are on a tight budget and happy with a WordPress.com subdomain. If you actually want to build a site over at Hostgator then you’ll really need to approach them for advice. And once you’ve loaded the wordpress software on a site there support won’t come from this forum but by registering an account at
