I am getting this error while trying to login into WordPress……
-
I can’t login either. When I enter the username to login, it says that it doesn’t exist! Because WordPress provides no way to get any help unless you login, I am using a different WordPress account to contact you because this is URGENT!
I manage an NBA halftime performer, including his website, amazingsladek.com. With WNBA Playoffs coming up & the NBA season about to begin, this is our busiest time of year.
I was in the middle of adding testimonials to one of the pages when I lost my internet connection for a second. When it came back on, The page was entirely in HTML. I thought it might be because Fusion Builder needed an update, but when I tried to activate it I kept getting:
“Warning: require_once(/home1/amazipd4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/inc/helpers.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/amazipd4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/fusion-builder.php on line 395Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home1/amazipd4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/inc/helpers.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php70/lib/php’) in /home1/amazipd4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/fusion-builder.php on line 395”
I checked the other pages & not only was all the text in HTML, but all the photos & videos were gone! I tried to restore a previous version & my developer did what he could, but all of my formatting was gone. I called Bluehost & they restored it with a backup.
HOWEVER, when I went to update the plugin, I still got the error. I also got it when I hit the edit button on my page. Bluehost said to contact WordPress. I figured that I would try to log off the computer for a bit & then log back in again, but, as I mentioned, when I enter the username, it says that it doesn’t exist. I checked Sladek’s email account & he has received several recent emails from WordPress, including this one from 15 hours ago:

I recently purchased a business plan for https://HaveFacialWillTravel.com, but I cannot log into it. My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). Can you please advise what I am doing wrong? Perhaps I inadvertently used a different email.
https://HaveFacialWillTravel.com is not showing up on My Sites. Instead only a previous blank one shows up.
Thanks.

@madrook. Did your issue ever get resolved? If not then it is preferable to start a new thread rather than tagging on to someone elses. If you have a WordPress.com Business plan you should be able to access Livechat support but of course you need to lg into the right account first. Have you tried logging out of here and logging back in with the username hfwt4u and whatever password you set for that site: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/users/hfwt4u/
-
Yes, it was resolved. I was logging in with the wrong username. Thanks!
(I wasn’t aware that my post was tagged onto someone else’s. I’ll try to avoid this in the future if I can see that I’m doing it.)
