wordpress login required for post likes?
-
I am just launching a blog and when someone on iOS tries to like a post, they are taken to a screen asking them to log in to WordPress or set up a WordPress account. This is in both Safari and Chrome on iOS. Am I just missing a setting somewhere? This does not seem to happen from my Windows PC.
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You must be logged in under a WordPress.com/Gravatar account to use the WordPress.com “like” button. Just as you cannot use the Facebook like button without registering a Facebook account and being logged in to use it, you cannot use the WordPress.com like button without registering a WordPress.com/Gravatar account.

As far as I know, the difference in behavior you’re observing between iOS devices (like iPhones or iPads) and your Windows PC might be due to the account status on those devices. For example, if you’re already logged into WordPress on your Windows PC, you won’t be prompted to log in again to like a post. On the other hand, users on iOS who aren’t logged in will be asked to do so.
