WordPress Makes All Updates in Elementor

    Why does wordpress keep directing me to elementor to make all and any updates or changes? I want to make my updates or changes in wordpress and then click update or publish in wordpress, but everytime I want to make any kind of changes or updates, it automatically sends me to the elementor to make those changes or updates. What’s going on here?

    Hi there,

    It’s Elementor doing this, not WordPress – if you’re using that plugin, and you want to make changes to content you created with that plugin, Elementor overrides the regular WordPress editor and takes you to their own editor instead.

    So please contact Elementor support directly for help with this.

    And for help with the open source software you’re using on your site, you can ask the WordPress.org community, who makes that software, in their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    The forums you posted to here are for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, which is something different from the WordPress you’re using. Your site is connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin, but it’s not hosted on our servers, so we don’t have any control over how it works.
