What is the differences from purchasing word press directly from WordPress or GoDaddy WordPress manager ?

Hi there! We (that is: WordPress.com) are a hosting platform, similar to GoDaddy. The main difference is that if you purchase a plan through us here at WordPress.com, your site is hosted here with us. If you purchase hosting with GoDaddy, then in that case you are using the free WordPress software which comes from WordPress.org instead.
What sort of site are you aiming to set up? While we’re not familiar with what GoDaddy offers, we’re happy to provide suggestions for how to set up a site here on WordPress.com!
