WordPress mapping to my domain.

    Hi there. The situation is this:

    I have the wordpress.com ‘deweyii.wordpress.com’.

    I bought the domain mapping package so that I can have ‘deweyii.com’ show my wordpress blog.

    I already had this domain from justhost.com.

    However, now when I go to ‘deweyii.wordpress.com’, it literally forwards to ‘deweyii.com’ (which is just a blank website).

    What do I do in order to view my wordpress.com blog on my domain? Or is that not what wordpress mapping does?

    You understand correctly (the site linked to my name is mapped for instance).

    You DNS records look correct: http://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/deweyii.com

    It can take 24 to 72 hours for all the changes to migrate to the far corners of the internet. With most things working sooner.

    I find a real site at: http://deweyii.wordpress.com/ but I am not thrown off of it as happened to you.

    I get an error that Domain Mapping has not been done at: http://deweyii.com/

    Two suggestions:

    Check the spelling on your domain mapping (typos can trash everything) and contact the Staff.
