WordPress missing ADD THEME button

  Want to use downloaded unzipped ‘Mobius Theme’ I have purchased.
  Every tutorial says I can upload or add a theme… yet the button’s not there
  under Appearance Theme… along the top of the page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The most likely answer is that you’re a free user of WordPress.com and only premium users, or users who have uploaded a WordPress.org install on their own hosting account can add custom themes.

  If you wish to upload this theme you simply have to upgrade your WordPress account.

  Mystery solved. New to this. Thanks fmixell! Saved me another hour or more of searching for archaic/technical solutions that would never have worked!

  I am a premium user and also cannot add themes. :-( Help? I keep getting sent to this article… https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/ Did they take away this functionality?

  According to this article you won’t be able to upload your theme to your WordPress.com account. You could use it if you were to use Worspress.org on a separate hosting account.
