  Hello everbody.

  I am a newbie to wordpress. I have a few questions.

  1. If I buy a wordpress temmplate from a third party, using it in wordpress.com would need a custom upgrade?
  2. What’s the difference between wordpress.org and wordpress.com

  If you buy a template, it must be CSS only, then you would need an upgrade.

  Themes you find on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs. We cannot upload themes here since the themes used here have to be reviewed for security issues and modified to work with the special version of wordpress used here and then they go through several rounds of testing.

  With the paid CSS upgrade (and at least some experience or knowledge of CSS), you can install CSS from outside sources, but that CSS has to be designed for the particular theme you are using here. CSS is theme specific. You cannot apply the CSS from one theme to another.

  There are quite a number of CSS “skins” that have been developed for the sandbox themes which are available here. This is one such site that has a selection of CSS skins for sandbox: http://sandboxskins.mycoolrealm.com/ .

  Search for this “sandbox skins wordpress.com” in Google for some other links to skins.
