WordPress Newb – Please Help!

Good day guys!
I’ve been constructing my blog for a couple of months now. I just have a few questions.
First, I noticed that you cannot include tags and categories for an essay written under “Pages” :( It also doesn’t appear on the “Recent Post” section. However, I read somewhere that it is possible.. but I just cannot do it on my blog, probably because I am using a free WordPress service, am I right?
Which leads to my second question, what affordable hosting service can you recommend to me? I am from the Philippines. Thank you! Thank you!

There is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts and we cannot post to more than that one page. But we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
A custom menu allows you to display Categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation where normally only Pages tabs are displayed. If you wish you can also include Pages and custom links in your custom menu as well.

Hi there, as @ceoadebayo mentioned, you can use category pages with a Custom Menu to give the appearance of different posts appearing on different pages on your site. Here’s more information on how you can do that https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
You do not need to upgrade in order to use category pages and a custom menu.
