WordPress newsletter – is it secure?

  I’ve just received a WordPress newsletter from (email visible only to moderators and staff). Is this a valid address? I was concerned that the ‘e0’ in the address might mean that it’s dodgy and I shouldn’t click on any links. How do I know if future newsletters are safe to open and click on?
