WordPress no longer shows site

    Hello, I log into my WordPress dashboard and my site no longer is there for me to edit. When I try going to the website itself, it also cannot be pulled up. I just recently got a notification saying my site isn’t secure, and haven’t been able to access it since then.

    The site I need help with is Portableplayland.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere. It’s likely hosted by GoDaddy at the moment.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

    You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.

    I’m trying to permanently delete a domain that i paid for because i wanted the free domain. However since the domain expired, my site is not showing up on wordpress when the link with the new domain is clicked on. It just says the domain has expired. I’ve tried to permanently delete the paid for domain but it keeps saying “internal error”. I’m not even sure if deleted the domain will just delete my entire blog. Any help would be appreciated.

    Please open a separate topic with the domain that you were trying to delete and we’ll be happy to look into that. We’d want to avoid the original poster of this thread getting unwanted emails from replies posted here. :)
