WordPress not appearing with default menus

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I recently installed a plugin ( big social ), and it made major changes to my interface on my wordpress site. I lost all the default menus in the desktop area. I read that if you backup your site and go to your php admin and delete the plugin, you can reload your site and re-install wordpress. Well I talked to my hosting and my wordpress site in still live, but when I open the site the menus still are missing. How can I reset wordpress to allow to show the default menus in the desktop area so I can make changes to the website? Email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  • Hi there,

Looks like you’re in the wrong forum. Since you’re using the self-hosted version of WordPress you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
