WordPress not available in one of my computers

    Hello,
I would like to know how to solve this problem.
I work in my iMac, and when I try to enter to wordpress.com it says the website is not available. If I manage to enter through support, when I log in, it says again, website not available.

I’m writing this message using my macbook, and it goes normally to wordpress.com, I can log and check the blog, like it should do in my desktop.

I’m using the same internet connection.

Is it possible that I deleted a file or something, and it doesn’t let me log in my desktop computer?

I’ve tried, other browsers (I use chrome) Safari and Firefox, and nothing, all seem to be lost when trying to go to wordpress.com

Also, I have cleared all cache/cookies/stuff to see if that is where the problem is… nothing.

My iMac has the 10.9 version and macbook is 10.7

    Help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello!

Is the problem restricted to WordPress.com? Are you able to access other sites on the web with your iMac?

You could try flusing the DNS cache:
    http://support.apple.com/en-nz/HT202516

It might also be the firewall on your computer if you’ve got one running so check the settings there.

It’s also worth checking that you’ve got third-party cookies enabled. Visit this page – http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/ – and it should say “Great, third party cookies are properly enabled in your browser!”.

Failing this it’s probably best to take it into the Genius Bar at your local Apple store so they can take a closer look.

    Hello,
Yes, from all the pages I use, wordpress.com is the only one that doesn’t open.

When i go to http://www.wordpress.com or when I hit login while looking at support page. I don’t have problems looking at wordpess pages, like the one I have or others, I’m just unable to get inside the account in my iMac.

I tried flushing the DNS, nothing happened. Went to terminal and copied exactly what the link said, yet seems like didn’t do anything.

My firewall is OFF, so I don’t think is that.

When I click on the last link you sent, the first thing it says is
    Checking your browser…
(check mark) Great, thrid party cookies are properly enabled in your browser!

So, I’m guessing is not about third party cookies.

Due to the region I am located, there is no genius bar that could fix the problem.

If you have any other ideas, I would appreciated any help on this.

    Thanks

    I finally solved the problem.
In my hosts file http://www.wordpress.com was written.

Gladly it wasn’t something I deleted, something was added a long time ago, who was supposed to help me to work with websites -which it didn’t-. Deleted the name and it works like a charm.

Now that is solved, I can work again peacefully.

    Thanks again.
