WordPress not loading New Blog User

Re: WordPress not loading New Blog User.
As editor of our blog have sent an ‘invite’ to another person who has filled in the required info and sent it off. WordPress says his name & email are registered. However the blog has the invited person down as ‘invite not used yet’.
Any ideas how we can unlock this little conundrum?!

I’m not 100% sure, but when I added users to an existing blog, I had to put in their email address in dashboard – users – authors & users once they actually had the wp.com account.

Actually if they have a wp.com account already, the blog admin can add them in at Dashboard -> Users -> The form at teh bottom of the page. Just make sure that they use the correct email address, the one they created an account with. The invite isn’t needed and I believe just tells folks to create a basic account not linked to any blog now a days.

OK. I had to send an invite because this person didn’t have a WordPress account (shock horror!). Normally WP will let me know when someone has taken up an invite so I can change Role level.
Anyway, I’ve added him the way you suggested and so far he’s in BUT, without our blog address next to his name, like we have with the other contributors.
