WordPress Not Responding to Attempts to Reactive My Domain in Redemption Period

I’m trying to repurchase my domain which is currently in the redemption period. I’ve been in touch with several Expert Users who have tried to re-route me to the Support Team. It’s been a week since I’ve started this process and I still haven’t heard anything from WordPress. (Yes, I have been checking my spam folders, and yes I have checked alternate email addresses. Nothing.) After a week, the Expert Users have redirected me to the forum.
I understand the action all comes from the WordPress.com side. I’ve also heard it shouldn’t take more than 24 hours to hear back from them.
Not sure what to do, sort of stuck in limbo, and becoming very frustrated. -
