If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

I’m using Google Chrome 25, your links say that I have cookies enabled and am running the latest version of chrome. I have cleared my browser cache. I do not receive any error reports. I followed your instructions and enabled https but nothing is different.
The edit I’m trying to make is simply spacing out my paragraphs. When I go into preview I notice that the post is doing it’s own spacing and not the spacing I edited it to have. When I update my post it reverts back into everything being squished together.
After going through your steps nothing has changed and I still am unable to edit my post. -

I would rather use wordpress because it looks better but it doesn’t seem to function as well as blogger.

Blog editors and word processors are not the same and do not work the same way. The web standard is one blank line only, so you cannot add more blank lines by pressing return repeatedly like you would do with a typewriter or in a word processing application. If you want to learn how to format and space your posts and pages see:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/writing-and-formatting-poetry/If you are working in the Visual editor, to get single spacing between paragraphs hold the SHIFT key down and simultaneously click ENTER at the end of the paragraph.
If you are working in the HTML (Text) editor, a single click of ENTER will give you a single-spaced line, and two clicks of ENTER will result in double spaced lines. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/09/13/wordpress-formatting-and-spacing/
P.S. When you create a new post, always make sure the Format tool is set to Paragraph before you start typing. It’s in the Visual editor Row 2 first position “style”. See the illustration here http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2 If you forget to do that then edit the post, highlight all in the Visual editor, select Paragraph from the Format tool, switch editor to Text then switch back to Visual and click Update.

Blogger runs on different code than we do. Here it’s php that creates HTML on the fly for our blogs.
