WordPress not saving/displaying my posts

For the past three days I have written and re-written an entry, manually saving and trying to preview the copy. The program only displays the title of the post while the body is blank. I try to go back to the draft and it to is blank. WordPress seems to suddenly be unable to save my posts.

Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Edit and check the Post Revisions module for previous saved versions of the post.

Then select the post and page modules to include them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules Then you ought to be able to go here > Dashboard > All Posts > Posts and locate the post and recover it from post revisions.
If you cannot locate the post and restore a post revision, and it’s not in your Trash folder http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/ then you will not be able to recover it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#restoring-from-trash
Advice:
When you start a new post, add the title, set it to private and then publish it. When you are done with the post, set it back to publish and update it. The problem with posts disappearing when saved as a draft has been around for a while, but only seems to hit a small number of people randomly.The other choice is to get and use an offline blog client such as Windows Live Writer (Windows) or Ecto (Mac) and then everything is saved on your computer and when you are done with the post, you actually publish it directly from the blog client software. The problem seems to be worse – I just tried to publish the post and it came out blank. For some reason the content is not sticking. This seems to me like a bug in the program.

There is a long standing problem that Staff are ware of. It affects only a small number of bloggers.If you are using IE( incompatibility mode that reduces the brwoser to renedring as if it’s IE7 and IE& is not supported.
If you are using AdBlockers or your are using DoNotTrack that can cause issues.
These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/

confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

trying another browserIf those do not work for you then we need to know
(1) how you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com. The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Also note that the main dashboard isn’t designed to work with touch devices through the tablet and smartphone browsers.(2) exactly which browser and version of it are you using. Setting those aside, you main focus is on recovering the post you lost and folloeing the Adbice I posted above so this does not happen to you again.

Also, I recommend you not ever use the QuickPost, ie the New Post option on the Admin bar. It doesn’t seem to autosave ever.

I’m with raincoaster. I never ever use “quick post” because it creates Asides and Asides are post formats. They don’t have Titles and can’t have Categories assigned to them.
