WordPress notifications going to outdated address

How can I stop notifications from WordPress from going to an outdated email address? When I changed my ISP many, many months ago I remembered to update my email address through both my Account Settings and my Personal Settings.

I just now checked and found those changes were saved correctly. A few days ago, however, when the email from Matt arrived announcing “Benny” it was addressed to my _previous_ address. That address will be going away soon (I was surprised it hadn’t already).

Since my address has already been updated in my Account and Personal Settings I assume I won’t receive further notifications (just when I’m preparing site improvements that may be affected by information contained in one or more notices.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Pete,

Just to check: is your email address updated here? That’s the email address that determines where your WordPress.com notifications will go. Are you getting notifications at your new email address just fine?

I changed my email address recently and too received an email from Matt at the old address about the release of Benny. Hmm. It might be worth tagging Staff for them to take a look at this.

And just to be absolutely clear, was it this email?

    Howdy, long time no chat!

Just a few days ago, we released WordPress 4.0 “Benny” which has already been downloaded almost three-and-a-half million times! This release includes major improvements to the plugin directory, a much more pleasant environment to write in, with better embed support and an auto-expanding editor, and finally media has been made more functional and beautiful.

Yes, that ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is my correct address. It has been forever since I received any notices from anyone but I don’t recall the few I did get going astray. Since changing my ISP some months ago I haven’t been active and Matt’s message is the only one I noticed going to my old address.
