WordPress Notifications not Displaying in Windows 10 Using Chrome Browser

I generally use my old laptop (much easier to use) to access and post on WordPress, however it is Windows XP so I’m assuming it will break soon. Therefore I’ve bought a Windows 10 laptop but, although I can see the orange dot on the comments notification ‘bell’ telling me I have unread comments, they won’t display on Windows 10 (they are fine on Win XP).
When I click on the bell, the grid comes up where comments would appear but the comments don’t show…
I am using the Chrome browser…
Any ideas please?

Can you tell me if you have any browser extensions running as well? (Ad blockers for instance.)
Lastly, can you confirm if clearing the browser cache solves the issue please? https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

(Apparently Chrome 88 anyway…)I don’t have any browser extensions running to my knowledge…

I’ve just tried again tonight and noticed that it’s working on my Windows 10 laptop on some WordPress pages, e.g. Stats but not on the Admin page. When I’ve dug into it further, I noticed a little icon on the toolbar and it turned out to be blocking some cookies. I’ve enabled the cookies and now it’s working!Sorry about that – funny I never noticed that little symbol in a whole year!
So… now seems to be working okay. Thanks for your response anyway :-)
