wordpress novice needs help with search feature and customizing a page – thanks!

  I have two questions that I’d appreciate help with.

  I added a standard search widget to my cookingblog, so that when someone types in “shrimp” it will generate a scrolling list of posts that mention shrimp. However, I want the search feature to generate a list of links to each post mentioning shrimp so that the person can click on the specific recipe they want, and not have to scroll down to find it. Can someone help with this?

  Also, my blog posts are divided into categories and tagged accordingly. I would like to add a page to my blog where each category is listed with a sub-head, with a list of post links below each sub-head that fall into that category. Can someone help with this?

  Unfortunately, that level of search result customization is not possible on WordPress.com blogs. The same goes for the category list as well, unfortunately. I don’t recall any themes that provide a similar display either.
