WordPress on a PHP site not working

  My site is written in PHP. I am using the index.php file in the root directory as the main entry point for my site http://www.erivynn.com. I have the wordpress software installed in the wordpress sub-directory. In the general setting section I have the wordpress address set to http://www.erivynn.com/wordpress and the site address set as http://www.erivynn.com. When I access the wordpress portion of my site it shows the main page not the wordpress blog page. the link for the blog page is http://www.erivynn.com/wordpress/blog-page. How do I set up wordpress to work on a site writtern in PHP?
