WordPress on Mac computer
-
We have a small Mac computer and I was thinking about buying a Macbook instead of continuing with Windows. I did a test run to upload a WordPress blog and discovered I did not have permission. I examined the matter further and discovered I am expected to upload a programme known as MAMP to enable me to upload WordPress on a Mac computer. Is this really necessary? If this is the case I will naturally not buy a Macpad – it is far to complicated for me. I am not Bill Gates and would definitely not be able to cope with such a complicated programme. Unless you can tell me this would not be necessary.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No it is not necessary. You do not need to upload. The reference to MAMP is a reference to running a local wordpress.org software install on your own server. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are separate and different http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
