WordPress on Microsoft server
-
I would like to have my PRTalent wordpress blog tied to my website. Unfortunately my website is an asp.net site and I understand that it’s not possible to integrate a wordpress blog into a site hosted on a Microsoft server?
If that’s true, how would I move my word press blog to a presstopia blog…. or better yet is there anyway on to synch blogs so postings on a Word Press blog would automatically be generated on a pressstopia blog? I’m just sayin….. that would be cool!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are in the wrong forum. This forum is for those hosted here at the wordpress.COM free hosting service.
Head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ since that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported.

This page over at wordpress.ORG gives the requirements to run wordpress: http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ . Contact the hosting service and see if these things are available on your asp.net server.

Thanks so much for the reply. I actually have my blog on wordpress.com so do I need to change it to a wordpress.org blog before moving it to the asp.net server? How is that done? Thx again!

If your blog is hosted here, then what you might be able to do is map your blog here to a subdomain on your current site (such as http://blog.mymainsite.com/ as explained in the domain mapping support document: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/ . That would get you around the asp.net issues since your blog would still be hosted here on wordpress.COM, it would only appear like it was on your main site.
