WordPress on Mobile Showing Author Name instead of Byline

    Hi all,
    So it’s hard to tell when this started but my authors are seeing the person who entered the articles into the site show on mobile browsers instead of the byline. Any idea on how to adjust that? I can’t find anything that allows me to choose what shows on mobile browsers.

    Hi there,

    Of what site are you speaking? https://bradirl.wordpress.com/ is completely empty except for the default content with which it was created, and you’re the only user on that site.

    I also don’t understand what you’re saying. The byline is supposed to show the name of the post author. That’s what that feature is for.

    To be clear, as far as the WordPress software is concerned, the account that created and published the post is the post author.
