WordPress only for blog for other website.

  I have wordpress website and I want to shift it to other stack but for my blog. But my developers (noveltyads.com) are saying that this is not possible. We can only move the whole wordpress to the blog rather than just the blog pages.
  
  They said for this approach you would have used two wordpress. One separate for /blog of your website. Are these guys right or is there any other solution?

  Those guys are right. If you already have a wordpress site, you have the possibility to start a blog. So you won’t be messing around with two seperate sites.
