WordPress only for blogs?

  Hi
  I read that WordPress is only a hosting platform. I thought one could build websites as well on WordPress. Are the themes on WordPress only for blogs, not websites? I’m really unclear.

  It’s best to continue in your first thread thread rather than creating multiples.

  All that means is that WordPress.com won’t build your free site for you. There is nothing to stop you building a website rather than a blog. (Just don’t have a blog page).
