WordPress or Bluehost or both?

    I am a brand new novice at this. Reading some instructions it seemed that it suggested setting up an account with both of these sites to create my web page. But much of the information it asks is the same for both. Do I need both

    The site I need help with is thenewestadventurecom.wordpress.com.

    So the short answer is, no, you do not need both.

    The longer answer is:

    There are two things commonly called “WordPress”.

    1. WordPress the free open-source site building software from WordPress.org (this is what you used to build your website). You would use this with a host such as Bluehost.

    2. WordPress.com, a web host for sites using WordPress software offering world-class 24/7 WordPress specific support.

    The two are related, but completely separate entities. Please read this page for more info on how they are related:

    To have a “WordPress” site, you need either 1 or 2. But you wouldn’t generally need both.
