WordPress or Woo Commerce
-
I’m trying to set up a website where I can both blog and sell various political stickers. Do I need to set up a word press account, a woo commerce account, or both? Very confused right now.

Hi,
Congratulations on starting your site!
WordPress comes in two flavors: the fully hosted WordPress.com, and the self-hosted version, whose software is available for free at WordPress.org. You can host a WordPress installation on your own server, or you can host your site here at WordPress.com and let WordPress handle the technical bits. You can read about the differences between .com and .org here:
If you’re new to having your own site, have a read through this Get Started page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/start/
WordPress.com offers several different options for selling things online using your site – a full-featured Store, a Simple Payments button, or integration with PayPal for a PayPal button. Additionally, Business plan customers can install third-party plugins, enabling WooCommerce with extensions, as well as other eCommerce-related plugins.
