WordPress overlay login not working on my WordPress.com site
-
I can’t log in to thellian.com (via the wordpress overlay in the bottom right). I can log into the overlay on other sites fine, but when I try to login to the overlay on thellian.com, remote-login,php doesn’t work, and I get left with a blank page on the following URL:
https://r-login.wordpress.com/remote-login.php?action=link&back=https%3A%2F%2Fthellian.com%2F
This means my website sees me as logged out, so I don’t see things like the “edit” links on pages/posts and I can’t access any drafts/previews/private posts. Without this functionality, it makes it near impossible to create content, as I can’t preview anything properly.
Things I have tried:
– cleared cookies for wordpress.com and thellian.com
– ipconfig /flushdns
– tracert r-login.wordpress.com (resolves fine)
– disabling Cloudflare
– logging into a different WordPress account
– disabling adblock
– using a private browsing session (firefox)
– using a different browser (Edge)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hm, that’s odd.
Which version of Firefox are you running, and would you please try with all add-ons off?
Also, are you blocking cookies?
-
Firefox 96.0.3 (64-bit)
None of my extensions run in private windows, so I’ve already ruled that out. I’ve also already tried logging in with Microsoft Edge. As I said, neither work.
I’ve just tried on my mobile (iOS, Firefox), which also doesn’t work on my home network or mobile network.
Thanks,

Whoops, sorry, forgot to add that. I’ve got the “Standard” enhanced tracking protection set, but I’ve disabled it for thellian.com and wordpress.com, still no luck.
The remote-login.php page doesn’t seem to return anything at all. It just stops on that white page. The firefox network debugging tool shows a return code 200, but the document is 0 B.

Hi there,
We’ve tried the few troubleshooting steps we can think of but because this is the support forum for sites hosted on WordPress.com (which has a different login system than your Jetpack-powered site uses) we’re at the end of our rope for what we can try on this end.
With this in mind please use this link to reach our Jetpack specialized support team as I think they will be in the best position to help you trouble shoot further. Thanks!
