wordpress overriding “hide” powered by wordpress despite business plan

    I have a business plan. I purchased the business plan to have the option of making the “powered by WordPress” footer hidden. I have had the site identity footer option on “hide” since I published the site. Yet, today, WordPress is showing “powered by WordPress” despite me having purchased a business plan. It appears that WordPress has overridden my settings despite having purchased a business plan. I also have screenshot as proof that I haven’t changed my settings from “hidden” and it is also not a “cache” issue, because I have checked the site on multiple browsers. Any insight from folks would be much appreciated.
