WordPress packages and enhanced media gallery

I am interested in re-vamping my website
http://centronuclear.org.uk/ and moving it into WordPress.
Please can you advise, if I initially built my site using your free basic package, would I later be able to upgrade and use my existing website address.
Also, as this website has a lot of images, I would like to be able to structure these, in appropriately named folders . How do I go about doing this.
I am asking because I have another website at https://thebigsunflowerproject.wordpress.com/
and I only seem to be able to save my images in a single folder, however I understand there is an enhanced media gallery, I just don’t understand how I access it.
    Thank you.

  • Hello

Yes, you can upgrade your account to the personal or above plans and that will allow you to use your existing website address for your WordPress.com account. You can read about the plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

WordPress has one media area, and all of your images will be housed there, regardless of the plan that you select.

You can create image galleries and slide shows on any of the plans. You can read about the Gallery Options and see some examples at https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/
