WordPress Pages Have Lost Their Formatting
-
My dashboard, wordpress page and other people’s wordpress pages are all showing up without any sort of column formatting. I had been logged into my account and everything looked and worked fine until I tried to add a new post and the page reloaded everything in one long column, blue text on a white background. My page appears similarly destroyed with the pages listed above the banner (which has resized itself), and then the posts appear without the right hand column; the right hand column appears as one long list following the last post on page one. Checked out several other wordpress blogs and they all look exactly the same but when a friend looked at mine it appeared normal for him.
I’m running the Vanilla Mist theme and I’ve already cleared the cache and cookies in Firefox. Tried running Safari but the formatting is still screwed up. Turned off and turned on my Mac. Out of ideas. The only wordpress site that doesn’t look screwed up is wordpress.com and no other sites (commercial or other blog servers) show up any different than they used to.
If anyone has any clues or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

blaark, usually this means there is a problem with your computer or network connection preventing you from reaching s.wordpress.com, which serves CSS stylesheets for wordpress.com blogs. You can confirm this by viewing this link:
https://s-ssl.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/h4/global.css
You should see about a dozen lines of CSS code starting with ‘img.latex’. If you see an error instead, that’s the problem.
You could try opening a terminal window and running this command:
dscacheutil -flushcache(That’s for Leopard, it’s a different command earlier versions of OS X)
If that doesn’t help you should talk to your ISP, show them the global.css link above and ask them why it produces an error.

I’m seeing the css when I go to the s.wordpress page.
I would try to run the command except I’m a little ignorant about this terminal window you speak of.

Okay, ran the command line in terminal (no fireworks, just said done) and rejunked Firefox’s personal data before rebooting. Same problem still with wordpress css– all other sites appear fine. Anything else it might be?
