wordpress password recovery email not getting sent

  I forgot the password, or at least none of the ones I’m trying are working and I tried the password recovery using both the username and email. It gives me the message that a recovery email was sent, but there’s nothing in my email account. Nothing in spam either.

  I tried a different email and user name and it told me they were invalid instead of a email was sent so I know I have the right username/email….. The host is AWS which is horribly complicated to do anything with and they have no customer service.

  Is there any other way to change/recover the password??
