WordPress Password Reset Attempt (probable hacking attempt)

  Someone (not me) attempted to reset my WordPress password recently. I believe it was someone involved with a group that has been harassing/stalking me who is attempting to hack my account. How can I find information (i.e. IP address) regarding this attempt?

  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Nobody can reset your wordpress.com password unless they have full access to your email account.

  Hi staartmees – Yes, I understand that – what I am trying to figure out is if there is some way to find out the IP address or any additional information for the person who tried to reset it, because I absolutely believe that it was someone who has been stalking/harassing me for nearly 2 years, and if I can get any sort of information that proves it could be this person (like an IP address) that helps my overall case.

  Because of privacy regulations wordpress.com doesn’t have that kind of information.
