  When building a WordPress website and lets just say I get the 4$ a month plan, is this payed only the first year? Or Every month of every year you need to pay 4$ in order to have the site running?

  Hi there,

  Monthlty billing is not supported, there is only an yearly plan.

  Hi!

  Thank you for the quick response :)

  Sorry maybe I wasnt very clear with my question, is it a one year thing that needs to be payed for? Or for the whole lifetime of the site you will need to be paying annually?

  Hi @ivanaverkic we do not have monthly billing on WordPress.com, as @wpexplorerah mentioned, so when you purchase one of our upgrade plans it is for 12 months (one year) and needs to be renewed every year if you wish to keep that plan active on your site.

  If the plan is not renewed at the end of the 12 month term it is removed from your account and the site is returned to “free site” status
