  Hi,
  I’m writing a dissertation about WordPress.
  At the moment I’m analyzing the plugins but there are no statistics about the most popular plugins, aswell there are no usable numbers. For example you only see 1+ million active installs. But which one is the most installed one? How many have more than 1 million (you can not even order them by downloads/active installs). I would be interested a lot of characteristics, facts and figures, the more the merrier. :)

  Yes, you will want to ask on the WordPress.org forums if you are looking for plugin information. Plugins are not available on WordPress.com.
