WordPress Plugin with Woocommerce

  Hi,
  My company wants to start an e-commerce store and at the moment we are trying to find the platform that fits our needs the best. We had some doubts that we were hoping you could clarify.
  Wordpress has its own plugin store and woocommerce has its own extension store. Does this mean that I cannot use all the wordpress plugins with woocommerce? Because we saw many plugins on the wordpress store which specifically state that they are for woocommerce. So if a wordpress plugin is not specifically built for woocommerce it cannot be used with woocommerce?
